Safe and scenic ride Your adventure starts at the recreation center “Lesnaya Skazka”, where you will go on an hour horseback ride through one of the most picturesque gorges of the Zailiyskiy Alatau mountains. You will ride on calm, well-trained horses under the guidance of an experienced instructor. On the way to the resort your guide will tell you fascinating facts about the Tien Shan mountains, traditions of horse breeding of Turkic peoples and the way of life of local nomads.
Breathtaking landscapes and traditional delicacies The trip will take you through beautiful orchards, blooming in spring and giving juicy Almaty apples in fall. You will climb up a gentle ridge, from where you will have a panoramic view of the majestic peaks of the Tien Shan, including Yubileinaya, Koktogai, Koptau, Issyk-Bash and other mountains.
After the walk you will return to the stables for a tea ceremony. Drink herbal tea and enjoy traditional nomadic delicacies such as kurt (salty cheese) and zhent (sweet cheese).
